AUSTIN M. POWERS
1997 - 2018

21, of Wadsworth passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2018 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born July 4, 1997 in Cleveland to Bobby and Amy (nee Channell) Powers. Austin was a 2015 graduate of Wadsworth High School and was currently serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Gerald Ford, stationed in Norfolk, VA. Austin is survived by his parents, Bob and Amy Powers, sister Samantha Powers and brother, Scott Powers, all of Wadsworth, paternal grandmother Mary Tunney of Lakewood, his maternal grandfather, Ronald (Sandy) Channell of Medina, maternal grandmother Nancy Taylor of Cleveland, his aunt and uncle, Michelle and Eddie Schwartz of Tiffin and uncle Ronald "Bubby" Channell of Cleveland and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 W. 130th St., Brunswick, OH 44212.

NORA BRADY
1929 - 2018

(nee Leneghan), was born November 19, 1929 in Doona, Ballycroy, Co. Mayo, Ireland. Not long after she immigrated she met her love, the late John Brady at the West Side Irish American Club. She brought so much love into the world, dear mother of Bernard (Cynthia), Catherine (Mark Williams), John (Susan), Edward (Eleanor), Roseann, Helene, Tisha (Conor), and Kevin (Catherine); grandmother to Mark, Patrick (Megan), Edward (Gina), Ellen Brady; John, Edward, Annmarie, Elizabeth Brady; Robbie, Keri, Jesse, Katelynn Brady-Benzing; and Aidan, Amelia, Dillon, and Declan Brady; great grandmother to Nolan and Declan Brady; and sister to Neil, Margaret, and Patrick and the late Mary and Ann. She passed away April 30, 2018 in the company of several of her children. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Beloved husband of 41 years to Jane (nee Gaylord); father of Larry (Michelle), Paul (Theresa), Bruce Bailey (Barbara), Brent Bailey (Nancy), Tim Bailey (Deborah) and Michelle Platt (William); grandfather of 18; great grandfather of 18; brother of Carol Birkhimer, Joan DeMarchi and the late Ruth Stadtler, Richard, Gerald and Marie Dimaline; uncle and friend of many. Special thanks to the Lutheran Home, St. John's Medical Center Intensive Care Unit and Ames Family Hospice for the care and respect shown to Joseph. Passed away March 22, 2018.

MARGARET T. ROBINSON Obituary

MARGARET T. ROBINSON  
1920 - 2018  

(nee Broderick), age 97, passed away March 19, 2018. Maggie was born to Catherine (nee Mahon) and Patrick Broderick in Bridgeport, CT on May 18, 1920. Due to being in a military family, she called several towns and cities home. After losing her mother at an early age, she was raised by her aunts. She attended Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart for a few years; during World War II, she enlisted in the Women's Army Air Corps where she met her future husband and love her life, "Rob" who was also serving in the Army at that time. They were married in London in 1945. Upon returning to the U.S. (Cleveland), they raised six children: five of their own and a niece. Maggie loved to read, quilt, garden, and could run a sewing machine with the best of them. In her later years, her favorite moments were spent with her cherished grandchildren. Her light will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Catherine Broderick; loving husband, William "Rob"; darling daughter Candice; sisters Ruth, Mary Callan, and her brother Harold Broderick. She is survived by her sister Patricia Broderick; children Penny Lins (Larry), Greg (Stefanie), Mark (Leslie) and Tim (Faith); nine treasured grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Son of the late Thomas H. and Helen (Bergolc), brother to Kathleen Lochtefeld, Bernard, Colette, Reverend Thomas H., Peter H., Marie Matthews, Helen Therese all deceased, and Eileen Rascon Fischer of Mexico City. Loving Papa to 15 grandchildren. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas, Cathedral Latin High School, and John Carroll University. Korean War Sergeant U.S. Army, where he earned several medals. Cleveland Fireman, Federal Government Investigator, and Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Corrections Officer. Member of St. Raphael Church in Bay Village. Polish Paddy loved to tell the tale and sing the song!

Bernard J. “Barney” Schultz, 92,  

of Catawba Island and formerly of the Cleveland Area died Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at home. He was born Feb. 26, 1925 in Cleveland, OH the son of Bernard and Mae (Kroupa) Schultz. He married Shirley R. McCarthy on August 31, 2006 and she survives. Mr. Schultz was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran serving in World War II. He attained the rank of Sargent and was trained as a top turret gunner and he flew B 24’s. He worked as a Cleveland Firefighter for 32 years and retired in 1982 with the rank of Captain. He worked part time as a landscaper over several years and he enjoyed gardening. He could get just about anything to grow. He loved boating and fishing and was a Charter Boat Captain of his own charter boat on Lake Erie and in Punta Gorda, FL. He was very handy and was proud of the fact that he could fix just about anything. 
 
Surviving are his wife: Shirley; children: Mary J. (Richard) Wright, Michael J. Schultz, Patricia A. (Ralph Barone) Schultz, Susan J. (Frank) Nagorney and Huck Qavanaugh, Bernard J. McCarthy; step-children: Sandra McCarthy, Shirley (Gary) Williams, Gene McCarthy; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son: William C. Schultz; stepsons: Hugh McCarthy and Mark McCarthy. 
 
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery, Catawba Island.
